To determine if one is iodine deficient, place 2 drops onto the skin of the inner elbow. If discolouration of the skin remains after two hours the subject does not require supplementary iodine.
3-4 drops per litre of water, per day.
For disinfection of water, add three drops per litre of water and allow to stand for 30 minutes.
